Unlike traditional systems where the pump speed is fixed and controlled by the mains frequency (@ 50 Hz, about 3000 rpm), MIDA is able to vary the pump speed according to water demand. In the presence of low demand, MIDA controls the pump at a reduced speed, which consumes less power.
